GRAPE STOMP
Have you ever been to a GRAPE STOMP to benefit our wounded and disabled
military heroes? Didn’t think so, but this Labor Day weekend you can participate
in a wonderful event at Plaza Del Posado in historic Old Town. Wine blessings,
live entertainment, food, and grapes galore are all part of this year’s first annual
Old Town Grape Stomp this weekend, August 30th through September 1st from
12Noon to 6PM. “Wine lovers and adventurous spirits can’t miss this opportunity
to get messy with a traditional grape stomp in the heart of San Diego,” says
William Holzhauer, owner of Hacienda de las Rosas, the Ramona area winery
with a tasting room in Old Town’s Plaza Del Posado. Cost is $30 per person
with a percentage of the proceeds to benefit Rick Roberts’ own WARRIOR
FOUNDATION benefiting our wounded and disabled military heroes receiving
care from Balboa Naval Hospital. Attendees receive two glasses of Hacienda
de las Rosas wine, appetizers, performances by singer-song writer Tom
Brosseau and memories of a grape stomping good time to last you a lifetime!
